At the Shareware Industry Conference in Warwick, Rhode Island, July 16, 1998 Ziff-Davis named Setup Specialist as the winner in the Programming Tools category in the 1998 Ziff-Davis Shareware Awards competition. Ziff-Davis magazine editors and ZDNet's Software Library have teamed up for the fifth-annual Ziff-Davis Shareware Awards to honor the year's best PC-based shareware programs. Software experts from PC Magazine, Computer Gaming World, FamilyPC and ZDNet selected the best titles in 23 categories.
